What do you want?

Hi jobseekers, this is the first "what do you want?" post in this blog. You know what it means? It means that you can post any request, be it resume samples or tips, to be placed on this blog, as long as it is related to the theme of the blog. For example, you can post request for a resume sample for the position of a literature teacher, business analyst, etc... or you can post a question on what you should wear during an interview.

Start postin' in the comments link below and I will grant your wish ASAP.

Hi Ben,
It has been a long time since I have needed to update my resume. I have been with the same company for over 10 years. I am looking for a resume sample for a Director of Information Systems.
Thanks Marie

Hi Ben,

My challenge is returning to work, and updating my resume after an eight (+) year absence. I earned my BA - English, enjoyed volunteer work, and am currently an Office Administrator for a Non-Profit (5 mos)...I'm not in the right place. How best to identify area of intrest? Do I include older positions? At 45, I'm ready for a challenge. Thank you!

Hi Genette, thank's for your request. Well, before I can start writing your resume, I need more information from you.

First off, can you tell me more on your job experiences (before the 8 year absense), and what you are doing now.

Maybe you can also detail me on what you have been doing during the 8 years, and the reasons for doing so.

I would also need more info on your hobbies and personalities. In short, what makes you tick?

Hope you can provide me with these info before I embark on your resume and career guidance.

hi mr. Benrick, Im a fresh graduate from St. Paul University Philippines, with Computer Science as my course. The school wanted to employ me and so they asked me to prepare for my resume. Im a little bit slow in using the english grammar and so I wanted to ask for your help. Do you mind if I submit a sample resume and have you check its grammatical errors? Can I have your email address where I may be able to submit it. Thank you and God bless!
